Born in Stanleyville, Congo, to Belgian parents, Kitty grew up in the picturesque city of Bruges, Belgium. She originally qualified in classical music and teaching and, for some years, taught music.

Having moved to Australia in 1986, Kitty suffered a debilitating neck injury in a car accident during 1991. This prevented her from returning full time to music and teaching, and she spent several years searching for medical solutions, therapies and therapists, both in Australia and overseas.

While coping with the chronic pain after the car accident, Kitty also had problems with constipation, painful periods and bloating. The bloating was so severe that people kept asking her if she was pregnant. She became also premenopausal at the age of 35. Doctors put her on HRT which gave her more side effects than relief of the symptoms.  After several medical visits without any relief, Kitty decided to take a holistic approach including Maya Abdominal Therapy, giving the body a chance to heal itself with nourishing and nurturing care. She’s never felt better since then.

Having experienced chronic pain and discomfort and coming from a background as a teacher, Kitty progressively developed a new career in therapy, helping and teaching others to cope with and, whenever possible, decrease or relieve the impact of many troubling health problems.

In treating a wide variety of conditions, Kitty carefully evaluates each client and employs a tailored mixture of techniques to alleviate their condition. For more detailed information about treatment techniques, select the Treatments tab above.

This benefits their personal wellness today and can also benefit the wellness of the generations that follow. Many of Kitty’s clients achieve outstanding improvement in troublesome conditions they have endured for a number of years.
